Ganesh Yagna, also known as "Ganesh Havan" or "Ganesh Homam," is a Hindu ritual that is performed to worship Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and success. Lord Ganesha is considered to be the remover of obstacles and the god of beginnings, and is often invoked at the start of any new venture or project.
The Ganesh Yagna is a fire ritual that is performed using a sacred fire or havan kund, in which various offerings are made to Lord Ganesha. These offerings may include fruits, flowers, ghee, and other items that are considered to be auspicious. The ritual also involves the recitation of specific mantras and hymns that are dedicated to Lord Ganesha, such as the Ganesh Gayatri Mantra and the Ganesh Sahasranama Stotra.
The Ganesh Yagna is typically performed by Hindu priests, who are well-versed in the Vedic mantras and the proper procedure for performing the yagna. It is typically held in a temple or other sacred space, and is open to all devotees of Lord Ganesha.
Participation in the Ganesh Yagna is said to bring great spiritual benefits, including the removal of obstacles and the attainment of success in any new venture or project. It is also believed to help in the attainment of material and spiritual goals, and to bring blessings of good health, wealth, and prosperity.
In addition, it is said that Ganesh Yagna is a great way to purify the mind, body, and soul and to remove negative karma. It is also believed to bring inner peace, happiness, and mental clarity to those who perform it regularly.
